Democratic Unionist Party Westminster Candidate, Jim Shannon, has said that a strong team of DUP MPs in Parliament will continue to champion the cause of WASPI (Women Against State Pension Inequality) women, who still seek redress for unilateral and discriminatory changes to state pension age.

Fair deal for motorists must be priority for new Government – Girvan

South Antrim DUP Westminster candidate Paul Girvan has said the next Government must do more to alleviate the cost pressures on motorist, by maintaining a freeze on fuel duty whilst also ensuring fairness in fuel pricing through a more robust investigation of pricing by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA). Mr Girvan also said the DUP would support a more robust investigation into the insurance industry, given the rise in the cost of car insurance premiums.

Portrush Polling Station Confusion Resolved- Campbell.

East Londonderry DUP candidate Gregory Campbell has welcomed confirmation by the Electoral Office that the nearly 100 residents in a small part of Portrush who previously received correspondence informing them to travel more then 12 miles round trip to a different polling station will now be contacted and informed that this was an error and that their polling station is still their local Primary School in Portrush.
