Sammy Wilson MP is backing the campaign for a memorial to the late Dame Vera Lynn CH, who famously sang “We’ll meet again” and “The White Cliffs of Dover”. The MP joined almost 100 fellow MPs, led by Dover’s Natalie Elphicke, in writing to the Prime Minister calling for the Government to provide funding to complete the memorial.
