Mr Robinson said,
“The UK Government is delivering the energy payment directly to homes in England, Scotland and Wales and people can see through the nonsense suggestion that this has been delayed in Northern Ireland because Stormont is not fully functioning.
Even if Stormont was fully operational, the best way to deliver this payment would be direct from London.
The NIO should stop manufacturing excuses for why this is taking so long. The energy companies are ready to deliver the payment and the only impediment lies in London.
Set a timeline and stop making politically motivated attacks on the DUP.”
