Commenting Mervyn Storey said,

"Clearly, the issues of respect, tolerance and a shared space and future hasn't reached a small unrepresentative group of individuals in Ballycastle.

The remembrance of NI Centenary was marked by Causeway Coast and Glens Council in having a number of floral displays with a sign simply saying, "NI 100 - Glance Back, Look Forward" Yet for some this wasn't acceptable and allowed to stay in place.

This thief is to be concerned as I know it will by the majority of the people of Ballycaslte.

I have referred recent social media comments to the Police and asked that this matter is taken seriously and investigated."
