30 May, 2025 Education Minister announces first RAISE Programme Initiatives across Northern Ireland Education Minister Paul Givan has today announced the first tranche of cross-cutting initiatives to be rolled out over the next two years under the RAISE Programme. The initiatives have been designed to provide an assessment of their effectiveness in tackling educational disadvantage across all types of education setting. They will allow schools to avail of opportunities to work together to develop professional learning clusters, take part in research into the impact of AI on literacy, bring opportunities for children and young people to improve their digital literacy and put in place literacy, numeracy and revision support for children and young people in collaboration with communities.
