Deborah said, “Levelling Up funding is a clear example of how Northern Ireland benefits from our place within the United Kingdom and how those benefits reach all regions.

As a representative for the most westerly constituency in the UK I am delighted to see investment in Fermanagh and South Tyrone. My constituency benefitted from over £20million in funding for the Council’s “Lakeland” project and for creating better facilities for women in my local rugby clubs.

This investment within Fermanagh & South Tyrone is a good news story, and particularly because it sees significant UK investment coming to rural areas west of the Bann. Through this money, construction jobs will be created and with the projects involved there will be state of the art facilities which will improve overall health and well-being.

In my role I continually speak up for this area and I am pleased that the Government has recognised need within this constituency.”
