Naomi Armstrong-Cotter who works for Strangford MP Jim Shannon won the Parliamentary Researcher of the Year award, whilst Laura Caldwell who works for Ian Paisley MP won DUP staffer of the year.

Sir Jeffrey said, “These awards are recognition of hard work and dedication by staff working in constituency offices. All political representatives have a team of staff, without which we would be unable to serve our constituents.

Jim is acknowledged as one of the most active MPs within the House of Commons, participating in many debates and other events within Parliament. Naomi recognition amongst all those working for MPs right across the United Kingdom is a fitting reward the background work and research which goes into that level of Parliamentary participation.

The DUP is committed to delivering the highest quality constituency representation and Laura’s award is also fitting recognition of the service she helps to deliver for the people of North Antrim. I want to offer my heartiest congratulations to them for awards they can be very proud of.”
