As a native of Drumquin, Tom was first elected as a Councillor in 1993 and has served as MLA for West Tyrone since 2003.
In the Northern Ireland Assembly, Tom serves on the Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs Committee as well as the Public Accounts Committee.
