Mr Storey said,
“This is an outrageous act. Six masked men to burgle an 80-year-old woman. These thugs need sent to prison for a very long time. This is a most depraved crime.
I appeal for anyone who can help identify these cowardly thieves to get in contact with the police. We need to remove these men from our streets.
My thoughts are very much with the victim who will understandably be traumatised by such an invasion into her home. Winter is difficult for everyone but especially the elderly. To rob her of her savings is a despicable act.”
