The DUP MP said,
"Today I was at Farnborough to be present at the first significant export trade deal signed between Australia and Northern Ireland post Brexit.
The deal delivers a bus partnership between Wrightbus and Australian bus company Volgren. It is an important deal putting the world's leading hydrogen bus onto Australian roads, that will be made in partnership with Volgren. The Australian market represents an important opportunity for the company, and with over 12,000 buses on Australian roads this is a significant deal.
Other world bus companies are in the wake of Wrightbus and this is a significant booster for the local workforce of whom I am immensely proud. It is a clear demonstration that when you make the best product in the world, then customers will follow!"
