Ian Paisley said,
"I condemn this and want everyone to feel at home living in Ballymena. Its a great place to live, work and raise a family. There is no place for racism or intolerance of any kind in Ballymena and I trust those behind these attacks will be held accountable.
Many of my constituents have opened their doors and shown great hospitality to the people forced from their homes due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Many foreign nationals work in our factories filling vital economic jobs.
This attack does not represent the people of North Antrim."
