“voters will choose between our plan to help working families or SF’s divisive border poll plans” Sir Jeffrey

DUP Leader Sir Jeffrey Donaldson MP has launched the DUP’s plan to help working families at Primrose Hill Day Care in Ballyclare. Jeffrey Donaldson was joined by South Antrim DUP candidates Trevor Clarke and Pam Cameron.

Our plan includes:

• 30 hours free childcare per week for 3&4 year olds.

• Fair access to pre-school places.

• An energy support payment.

• Energy efficiency schemes to support better-insulated homes.

• A Windfall Tax on energy firms.

• Making going green affordable to home in Northern Ireland.

The DUP Leader said:

“People have a choice between our plan for helping working families with the cost-of-living crisis and growing our economy within the Union, or Sinn Féin’s divisive border poll plan which will lead to more arguing and fighting rather than focusing on the issues that matter.

As part of our plan to help working families we will deliver in the next mandate 30 hours free childcare per week for 3 and 4 year olds and we will ensure there is fair access to pre-school places.

We want to ensure working families are not forgotten. We will deliver an Energy Support Payment to hard- pressed households and support the introduction of energy efficiency schemes to support better-insulated homes to help tackle the cost-of-living crisis.

Sinn Fein want to use this election to push for a divisive border poll and to destabilise Northern Ireland. We want to use this election to ensure we can deliver our 5-point plan for Northern Ireland.

The outcome of this election is on a knife edge. Every vote will count. Only the DUP has the plan and the strength to ensure Northern Ireland continues to move in the right direction. Only by voting DUP, can you ensure this plan to support working families becomes a reality.”
