DUP Deputy Leader and Peer Lord Dodds addressed the House of Lords debate on the Queen’s Speech:

o Commended HM the Queen for her 67th Gracious Speech

o Recognised the success of the UK vaccination programme

o Urged the House to recognise the benefits of the UK during Covid in particular the £352 billion of economic supports

o Challenged the Government to recognise their plans to help the Union will be hindered by the constitutional and economic damage being inflicted on the Union by the NI Protocol

o Two and a half times the number of checks take place in NI ports compared to Rotterdam for the whole world
