The DUP MP said,

“Almac is a world-leading company, and we are proud to have its global headquarters in Craigavon. The opening of two new manufacturing facilities in the area is a significant further boost to the local economy and another demonstration of the company’s commitment to Northern Ireland.

I have been pleased to work with the company during this expansion process and assisting them in securing some of the funding which has helped drive these plans. The plans announced at the end of 2021 were ambitious, but they have continued to move forward and hit those targets.

Almac has put Northern Ireland at the forefront of the life and health sciences sector. This is an area that will continue to be of huge importance not just nationally, but globally and I know that Almac will continue to be a key player in this field.”
