DUP Health Spokesperson, Pam Cameron MLA, has welcomed the new addition of all Northern Ireland's five Health & Social Care Trusts and NI Ambulance Service in the list of organisations benefitting from the NHS Charities Together fundraising efforts.
Commenting following this update, Mrs Cameron said "I'm delighted that these local additions have now been made after I and many others had highlighted this publicly. The heroic fundraising efforts of people like Captain Tom Moore will now help to benefit people right across the entire United Kingdom.
Many donations have been made from the public in Northern Ireland to Captain Tom Moore's NHS appeal, currently standing at over £29 million, and it very welcome news that all parts of the UK will be greatly helped by this and the many other donations and fundraising campaigns held for NHS Charities Together.
The public support for our National Health Service during this unprecedented crisis has been outstanding, not least in Northern Ireland."
