The DUP's Upper Bann MP Carla Lockhart has commended the police for a successful operation in tackling drug criminality near Loughbrickland.
Carla Lockhart said,
“I commend the PSNI for this significant and sophisticated operation. Taking £900k worth of drugs off the streets is very welcome and no doubt will save lives. Drugs ruin lives and communities. There is no place for them in our society.
I encourage the public to continue to play their part in identifying drug dealers and reporting them to the Police. It is only with community involvement that operations like this can take place.
I trust that those involved in this illegal activity will face the full force of the law. These individuals often prey on the most vulnerable in our society.
I urge anyone who has any information to contact the PSNI on 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers.”
